

Our course author, Dmitri Ezeuko, is a certified personal trainer and Family Medicine trained Physician (specializing in lifestyle and obesity medicine) with over 10 years of experience in the fitness industry.
His passion for health and fitness started at a young age of 4 when he would sit on his father's back as he did his morning push-ups. This then matured into him joining his dad for morning jogs when he became old enough and after multiple pleas. He of course wanted to quit by the next week when he realized he would rather sleep in and watch cartoons on Saturday with a big bowl of cereal, instead of going for a morning run at 5am. Alas, that would be the first lesson he learned, as his dad told him that he had to stay consistent and see through whatever noble venture he started. Fast forward to Dmitri as a teenager watching WWE and wondering if it could be possible to ever get that big, strong and muscular. He asked his dad who said it was possible if he lifted weights and kept working out. That was all Dmitri needed to hear, that it was possible. This was the start of the long road of fitness which brought us here today.
Along the way, he struggled with lots of trial and error, learning lots of things from multiple YouTube videos, online workout programs, fads, etc. The more he learned and applied, the more he saw his body transform to a more athletic physique, and subsequently the passion grew.
Dmitri dedicated himself to learning about exercise science and nutrition, eventually transforming his own physique and becoming an inspiration to others. He even started coaching his friends and family as a hobby and loved seeing their transformation.
Dmitri eventually decided to take his passion beyond friends and family, and started coaching clients officially part-time while in college, and eventually made a fitness coaching business by the time he got to medical school.
Dmitri's holistic approach to fitness sets him apart from others in the industry. He believes in taking a comprehensive view of health and wellness, encompassing not only physical fitness but also mental and emotional well-being. Throughout this course, Dmitri will guide you through exercises, eating habits, and mindset strategies to help you not only achieve your fitness goals, but to be able to make fitness as second nature as breathing.

Dmitri realized that the only way he could get the body he wanted was by making some changes to his lifestyle. During residency he made holistic changes to his daily routine. By being more conscious of his eating habits and incorporating a weekly routine of physical activity for one hour up to four times a week, he started to notice changes over time. He then took what he knew and started coaching people online.

Dmitri was able to get to his goal weight without committing to a fad diet or overzealous workout routine. His co-residents took notice of his progress and Dmitri started creating workout routines for them as well.
